The State of Nevada requires that all repairs to manufactured homes be done by a contractor licensed by the State of Nevada Manufactured Housing Division.  Manufactured houses are constructed by different rules and standards than regular frame built homes.  Manufactured housing contractors not only are required to pass tests that are specialized for manufactured housing, but are also required to attend regular classes dealing with installation and repair standards and code changes.  Inspections are required for alterations and repairs made to manufactured homes.  Nevada Manufactured Housing can be reached at mhd.state.nv.us  .
